Sharjah 24: Dr. Kamal Al Hammadi, head of the Veterinary Division of the Kalba Municipality, confirmed that the mechanism of work of the municipal slaughterhouse during Eid Al Fitr would be in accordance with the precautionary measures to preserve the health of clients and workers.
In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Al Hammadi explained that the cleaning and sterilisation work in the slaughterhouse is in full swing in preparation for receiving the customers, examine and slaughter their animals.

He pointed to that the slaughterhouse has been well maintained and supported by all needed equipment and staff to cope with the number of clients during the Eid days, noting that the capacity of the slaughterhouse ensures handling of about 80 to 100 animals per hour, and 500 to 600 per day.

He revealed that the business plan in the slaughterhouse during Eid does not allow customers to enter so as to preserve the physical distance, and to ensure that the carcasses are delivered to their cars

Al Hammadi called on the public to cooperate with the staff and workers at the slaughterhouse, and to respond to the work mechanism that provides for the delivery of the sacrifices outside the walls of the abattoir to clients’ cars.
