Sharjah 24: The General Directorate of Sharjah Police announced to the public that it would provide buses to transport worshipers to and from Sheikh Saud Al Qasimi Mosque on the night of 27 Ramadan to avoid traffic congestion and traffic jams around the site of the mosque.
This comes in cooperation with the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs, Bee’ah, Sanid, Al Qasimi Hospital, Sharjah Medical District.

Alternative parking areas will be allocated to worshipers in two locations from 10 pm on the night of 27 Ramadan, the first site: parking next to the Sharjah Sports Club, and the second location: parking spaces of Abdullah bin Jubair Mosque in Talaa’.

Brigadier General Ali Salem Al-Khayyal, Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police, called on motorists to respect the laws and to park their vehicles in the assigned places, not to stop their vehicles randomly during prayer, and not to close the exits and entrances leading to the parking. Brigadier Al-Khayyal praised the participants in this initiative for their role in highlighting the spiritual atmosphere in Ramadan away from traffic jams that may bring about many negative phenomena in the areas surrounding the Sheikh Saud Mosque.

He added that the Sharjah Police will provide medical clinics and paramedics in the event of any emergency, in addition to providing tents for prayer and logistical support as well as all means of comfort to the worshipers on this blessed night.
