‘Sharjah Children’ gears up for Parliament session

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Children, affiliated with Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, in cooperation with Child Safety Department, affiliated with the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, organised a workshop on the importance of good friends in child surrounding. The workshop targeted members of the Sharjah Children Parliament at its 16 session of 2019-2020.
The workshop was organised during a gathering held at Al Dhaid Child Centre on Saturday, 18th January.

The workshop was organised in preparation to the convening of the third session of the Sharjah Children Parliament.

During the workshop, Hind Salem Al Badwawi, a Senior Specialist at the Judicial Department- Abu Dhabi, highlighted the phenomenon of bullying among children and adults, and the need to differentiate it from violence. She also addressed the meaning, causes, and laws deterring this phenomenon.

The workshop also aimed at raising awareness about bullying and ways to combat and tackle it.
