Completion of 30% of new EDD’s building in Khorfakkan

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) revealed the completion of 30% of the total works of the constructing project of the new Economic Development Department (EDD) in Khorfakkan, with a cost of about 22 million dirhams.
Eng. Mohammed bin Yarouf, Director of SPWD Branches announced that the Directorate has completed the implementation of a number of vital projects in the cities of the eastern region in general, and the city of Khorfakkan in particular, adding that the project handover will be during the second half of this year.

In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Eng. Bin Yaarouf explained that the building area reaches 2000 square meters, and the building was designed according to the Islamic architectural style similar to the designs of government buildings in the Emirate of Sharjah, preserving the characteristics of modern architecture.

He concluded that the new building has various facilities and equipment that ensure the serving of all segments of society.
