SEWA accomplishes 180 km of water installations in Seyouh

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) has completed the installation works of water pipelines in Al Seyouh area with a length of 180 km with diameters ranging from 100mm to 300mm.
Eng. Dr. Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of SEWA, said that the Authority is continuing its efforts to strengthen water transfer and distribution networks in all areas of the Emirate of Sharjah, pointing out that the new water pipeline projects are part of the Authority's plans and projects to provide water supply in the Emirate of Sharjah and achieve sustainable development.

He explained that the water networks extend for more than 3500KM in Sharjah with a production of 110 million gallons per day, 90 million of which in the city of Sharjah.

He confirmed that the Authority is implementing these large projects of water extensions to keep pace with urban expansion in all areas, pointing out that Al Seyouh Suburb is one of the largest residential areas in the emirate.
