Sharjah 24: Sharjah police succeeded in rescuing a child who was about to fall from the window of one of the buildings where he lives with his family in Khorfakkan. The police arrived at the scene at the right time to observe the situation of the child.
In details, a police patrol was patrolling the area when one of the officers noticed the 12-year-old boy lowering himself from the window of one of the tall building. He was about to fall from the window. Warning him, the patrol officers noticed that the child was not responding and appeared to be deaf, so, they decided to intervene quickly to save him.

The speedy response of the police saved the life of the child who was actually suffering from hearing problems as the police came to know from his father who immediately pulled his child in and locked the window. The police warned the father of the need to take good care of his child.

The Sharjah Police reiterated its warning to community members and parents about the dangers of children falling out of balconies, windows of buildings and residential towers to avoid tragic accidents caused by neglect and non-observation of children by their families.

The police also warned families to the need of removing seats or tables and not leave them near windows or balconies.
