Sharjah24 – dpa: At least seven people were killed in a fire in a low-cost dormitory in the South Korean capital Seoul, local media reported Friday.
Eleven other residents were injured in the fire that appeared to have broken out early in the morning in a room on the building's third floor, according to local television.

The cause of the fire was not known. Some 50 people were reportedly staying in dormitory-style accommodation on the second and third floors at the time.

The building did not have a sprinkler system. Most of the dormitory's guests were temporary workers.
