Sharjah 24: Imad Hafeez, the official in charge of the Tunisian Pavilion in Expo 2020, stated that Tunisia has been participating in various international exhibitions since Expo 1851 in London.

He indicated that the Tunisian theme in Expo is based mainly on the youth and the innovative spirit. The motto Tunisia chose was "Inspiring Youth, a Promising Future" to highlight the values of innovation and creativity among Tunisian youth in which it will contribute to its development and prosperity.

Hafeez added that Tunisia’s participation will reflect the image of Tunisia as a country that supports pioneering projects, especially in the field of modern technologies. It is also an opportunity to introduce and promote tourism for Tunisia.

The Tunisian Pavilion consists of four “spaces”. The first one is a reception space, through which the tourist, historical and cultural sites of Tunisia will be explored via promotional films.

The second space is a multi-dimensional short film that introduces Tunisia for the visitor to live a unique experience, in addition to a tour of ancient Carthage using virtual reality technology.

The third space is about presenting successful projects of some Tunisian companies, especially start-up companies, in the fields of technology and innovation.

The fourth space is the commercial space, where visitors can purchase various Tunisian products.
