Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Municipality briefed a visiting delegation from Kalba Municipality on its various administrative and technical work in managing the municipality's facilities.

This came during the reception of Al Hamriyah Municipality, on Thursday, at its headquarters, within the framework of cooperation between the various municipalities of the Emirate of Sharjah to promote joint municipal work within the departments and institutions of the Sharjah government.

The delegation of Kalba Municipality, in the context of developing opportunities for effective communication, was acquainted on the aspects of benefiting from the experiences applied in Al Hamriyah Municipality in the areas of beach facilities management and public safety in general.

During the meeting, a film was shown reviewing the efforts of municipal control and inspection in Al Hamriyah Municipality in preserving the environment, enhancing public safety and following up on negative phenomena.

After touring a number of facilities of Al Hamriyah Municipality departments, as well as visiting the beach services provided, the two sides reviewed many initiatives implemented in the field of environmental protection awareness in beaches aimed at maintaining cleanliness and enhancing environmental and social responsibility among beachgoers and public facilities in Al Hamriyah.

The delegation was made aware with the efforts taken in the field of control, security and cleanliness of public facilities in the area, through daily inspection and control tours, and ways of preserving the vital environmental components in Al Hamriyah, and the role of municipal inspectors in introducing, guiding, raising awareness among all visitors.

In turn, His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, indicated the keenness of the municipality in its various departments and sections to enhance cooperation between the various municipalities of the Emirate of Sharjah, with the aim of exchanging experiences in the interest of upgrading the level of services provided to the community. Such efforts come in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah towards the development of cooperation frameworks.

His Excellency Al Shamsi indicated that Al Hamriyah Municipality was pleased to receive a delegation from Kalba Municipality, during which they discussed the various works of Al Hamriyah Municipality in a number of aspects and services provided, whether from the efforts made by its cadres or the efficient and quality measures it implements.

His Excellency stressed that this cooperation and coordination is important and vital between the various bodies working in municipal affairs, due to its national goals represented in the development of services on a permanent and continuous basis.
