Sharjah24: Major Sultan Abdul Rahman Al-Asam, from the Special Tasks Department of the Sharjah Police, congratulated His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council and all the Emirati people on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, expressing pride of the Sharjah’s cannon firing that marks the beginning of the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

Then he spoke about the ceremony of launching the Eid cannon in the Emirate of Sharjah, which has been held for more than 35 years, stressing that the cannon 3 shots fired after the Eid prayer. Al-Asam explained that this cannon is dedicated to the Eid ceremonies, and is owned by the Ruler of Sharjah.

Concluding his speech, he extended the congratulation of the police on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, and wished everyone to adhere to the preventive measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
