Sharjah 24: Ali Zain, an Egyptian handballer, has signed a contract with Barcelona. Since joining Sharjah Club in 2018, when he was transferred from Egypt's Al-Ahly, the player has won 11 championships with the club.

On Friday, Sharjah Club confirmed, on its Twitter account, that the player's transfer had been approved.

Ali Zain is one of the most well-known members of Egypt's national team. With him, they finished seventh in the World Handball Championships, which were held in Egypt.

“I would like to thank the club, the technical staff, and my teammates for helping me become a better handball player,” the player wrote on Twitter today.

“I also thank the esteemed board of directors for making my family and me feel at home during our time here, I can only express my gratitude to the club and its supporters, and I wish Sharjah Club much success in the future.” He added.
