SY trains on techniques of professional product photography

The activities of the 'Picture and Show Your Product' program, organised by Sharjah Youth (SY), affiliated to the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for creating leaders and innovators, were concluded remotely to develop the knowledge of its participants from 13 to 18 years old, providing them with various skills related to the entrepreneurship sector, and introducing them to the secrets of And the arts of photographing products in a modern way.
During the program presented by Mubarak Mahboub, a photography and video coach, the participants learned, for three consecutive days, the rules of professional photography, which include the 'rule of composition,' and depends on the photographer's view according to the data, through which the appropriate distribution of the elements of the image. In addition, to 'rule of triangulation.', which is based on dividing the image into three equal sections with two horizontal and vertical lines to determine the picture's strengths.
Also known as the "double-framing rule," that depends on placing the main elements in the picture within frames like doors or windows. Moreover, the "guiding lines rule" focuses on using the riverbed or the extension of the street as lines to direct the viewer's gaze to a specific point in the image. Mahboub touched on a set of valuable tips for the participants, represented in the importance of visual feeding as the first stages of planning for photography, by following up on many websites and photographers' accounts to feed eyesight before shooting. For example, to avoid a single shooting mode, not knowing the capabilities of the camera, not installing it during shooting, using the direct flash in a way that hides the details of the image, random photography of people and places, avoiding the use of full or small memory, and wrong image processing.
The participants learned about the importance of lighting, which is an essential element in photography, including the natural source of sunlight and the industrial source that includes lamps and everything made by humans. They were trained on how to invest sunlight as one of the best lighting sources in photography, and the skills of dealing with it are Between shadows and brightness using reflectors and filters.
The affiliates were trained in the art of photographing bright and shiny products, in addition to the methods of marketing them through social media platforms, which include displaying images clearly without additions, clarity of words, choosing the target group, choosing peak times when publishing images to ensure their viewing, not mixing marketing with personal matters, and the necessity of Attention to customers.
At the end of the program, a competitive competition was held among the participants to take pictures of different products to allow them to apply their skills gained from the program.
