SY organises problem-solving, decision making training programme

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Youth (SY), affiliated to the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, organised a remote training programme entitled "Develop your skills" in line with its strategy to support the capabilities of its members and provide them with various skills that keep pace with the needs of the labour market.
The “Develop your skills” programme presented by Dr. Ahmed Tahlak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Levin Burt Training and Consulting, included a set of topics represented in explaining the concepts of behavior and skill and the difference between them, in addition to a group of interactive questions that motivate the participants to speak, including your favorite hobby, what steps do you take? Follow it to develop your hobby and skills, and what do you aspire to become in the future?

The affiliates learned about the essential skills needed for the future and how to overcome obstacles and challenges in times of crisis and benefit from them to reach excellence and success. They also learned about the importance of planning to develop hobbies and skills and ways to reach the stage of passion and turn them into professionalism while adhering to the teachings of religion, traditions, and values authentic to the Emirati community.

Sharjah Youth participants were trained in the steps of solving problems that include identifying the problem, making sure that we are not part of it, focusing on facts, not feelings, and searching for the causes of the problem through logical thinking and constructive criticism that contribute to the search for details and causes of the problem in its various dimensions, in addition to thinking, analysing, and proposing solutions. Alternative, choose one of the solutions and start implementing it.

Dr. Tahlak touched on the importance of making decisions at an early age to help prepare a comprehensive plan for the future, noting that those who failed to plan are the ones who plan to fail, explaining that the more we know where we are heading; The more effort we make in reaching the goal and achieving the goals.

The affiliates learned about the importance of reading and research in developing negotiation, presentation, and persuasion skills and nurturing minds to invent ideas that contribute to good decisions. The appropriate decision was taken to achieve the future vision by collecting ideas, developing logical solutions, and choosing the most appropriate solution.
