"All my concern, is how I protect this person, not from aggression, this is the responsibility of someone else, but we are afraid of other things, things you do not see, things are extraneous, things that change your identity, things that change your belonging, change your faith, change your belief. It's all in the soul."
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, at the opening of the Kalba Conservation Reserve in Kalba City, April 2021.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah addresses in this saying the great responsibility entrusted to the leader, describing it as concern. Which reflects the deep personal feeling of the human being to the extent that responsibility becomes a concern that His Highness carries in the morning and evening and an illusion that is summed up in the question: How do I preserve this human being?

This simple question, but great in its meaning, constitutes all aspects of a decent life on the one hand, and intangible things on the other. Thus, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah has given a lesson in leadership, and it is a great responsibility that is not limited to material things only, but it transcends it to the foundations of human existence, and the complex psychological formation that surrounds this existence that definitely requires upbringing, refining, and constant care that does not end by clarifying the safe path for this human being.

His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, completed the first idea of protection, so that His Highness came to the deeper idea of protection from intangible things, which are the things that get stuck in the human soul, and work to destroy and change the most important thing that a person possesses. They are: identity, belonging, faith, and belief. This quartet, which His Highness identified as the most dangerous for the soul and the personality of the human being, because it constitutes the features of his existence and originality, it is what gives human his identity amidst all the thoughts in the world, and from it this man derives his belonging, thought, upbringing, society and his homeland, which he is proud of.

Thus, His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, refers to the most important requirements that the leader, society and the human being must take care of. Without them, the human being becomes a gelatinous being without identity, creed, or affiliation, and whoever has no history, certainly has no future.
