Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command confirmed the success of the security plan to secure the AFC Champions League "Group B", hosted by Sharjah Sports Club and concluded on Thursday, noting that the tournament took place in an atmosphere of safety and security.

Commenting on this, Colonel Ashour Sabt bin Ashour, Director of the Special Tasks Department of Sharjah Police, Chairman of the Security Committee of the Asian Champions League Group B, announced that the security plan set by the Sharjah Police General Command to secure the Champions was implemented with complete success.


Colonel Ashour said that the security plan has effectively contributed to the success of the important sporting event, which is considered one of the most important continental championships in football at the club level, indicating that the tournament took place in an atmosphere of safety and security in the emirate of Sharjah.


Colonel Ashour Sabt bin Ashour has highlighted the distinguished role of the Security Committee, stressing that they performed their task according to the best level of readiness, underscoring also the advanced level of the security authorities in Sharjah Police in dealing with major sporting events and their various activities 


The Chairman of the AFC Champions League 2021 Security Committee said that the committee is keen to provide its security operations efficiently and effectively, in order to achieve the visions and aspirations of the Ministry of Interior for the UAE to be one of the best countries in the world in achieving security and safety.
