Sharjah24: Sharjah Sport Council (SSC) completed 1141 sport activities during 2020 in cooperation with a number of Sharjah’s clubs. The activities were organised virtually and on land within the Council’s annual plan and objectives to spread the culture of sports in the emirate .

Commenting on that, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sport Council, highlighted the great keenness of the council to organise a number of sport activities in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) and the follow- up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. 

Issa Hilal Al Hazami proclaimed that the Covid-19 pandemic affected on the sport activities, but it hasn't restricted Sharjah Sport Council to implement its activities which reflects the unlimited endeavor of its members to continue the sport march in the Emirate of Sharjah. 

Chairman of Sharjah Sport Council stated that the great success that the council has recorded last year urged us to exert more efforts to harvest further distinguished achievements.
