Sharjah 24: In the presence of His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Club, the club supported the national vaccination campaign, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), by providing the COVID-19 vaccine to all the club's members.

The vaccination was provided free of charge and optionally to all those who wish to take it from the club. 

For his part, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Muhairi, Head of the Health Affairs and Sports Medicine Department, expressed appreciation to MoHAP for the great efforts that made it possible to provide the coronavirus vaccine for free and for its cooperation with Sharjah Sports Club.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al Muhairi affirmed that the initiative reflects the Sharjah Club’s keenness to support national plans that translate the wise leadership’s interest in providing all means of protection for a healthy and safe society.

Al Muhairi added that Sharjah Club, through the Department of Health Affairs and Sports Medicine has been keen to take many precautionary measures, since the beginning of the pandemic, by conducting periodic checks and analyses to detect the COVID-19 for all sports teams permitted to practice activity, and all club members.
