Sharjah24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipality recently revealed its annual report for 2020, which included the most prominent achievements of the municipality, and all the activities and achievements of the various departments of the municipality in serving the residents of the utopian city during the past year.

In terms of events and activities, the municipality carried out more than 24 activities and initiatives, and the Food Control Department carried out 2997 inspection rounds on various stores, factories, restaurants and institutions working in the field of food in the city, to ensure their compliance with the requirements, instructions and laws related to their work, during which it issued 437 warnings and 72 violation.

The Health Control Department in the municipality announced the implementation of 1974 inspection rounds on various bodies and institutions in the city, during which it issued 106 warnings, 3 violations, issued 6 new licenses, and conducted 12 sudden health inspections. The department also carried out 10 awareness training campaigns in the field of its educational responsibility.

For its part, the Veterinary Services Department in the municipality issued 48 warnings and 15 violations, which took place during the 2586 inspection visits conducted by the department during the past year 2020.

The training department in the municipality implemented 72 training programmes in cooperation with the Human Resources Department, benefiting 185 employees, and the department also participated in 59 workshops in cooperation with a number of centers and institutes operating in the emirate, benefiting 218 employees.

The Engineering Administration Department revealed that it conducted 2,290 inspection tours aimed at controlling movement in the projects and construction sector throughout the city, during which it issued 440 warnings and violations, and issued 51 new building permits.

As for the comprehensive services provided by the municipality, the Customer Happiness Department has implemented 739 lease contracts (new + certification) transactions, in addition to 137 transactions related to external advertisements.

Regarding the major achievements made by the municipality in the agricultural field, the Department of Agriculture and Recreation in the municipality revealed that it has carried out a large number of projects that have been implemented during the past year.
