Sharjah24: We are in race against time; knowledge is in constant change, if we stay still at these stages we will not catch up. I will call on my sons and daughters to strive hard and to take the issue of knowledge seriously because taking diploma as a priority will hamper the core of gaining knowledge as your main goal becomes restricted to achieving the near objective which is only associated with passing a course thus sacrificing the more important one which is instilling. Doing so, the seed of knowledge rots will never grow as a good tree that bears the aspired fruit.
With these words His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, started his speech addressing an Alumni Association Ceremony, at University of Sharjah 2018.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi clearly highlighted an important point that is associated with his efforts and toil as a prudent and wise leader who has been for decades, leading the Emirate of Sharjah towards an integrated development substantiated by the efforts of all official bodies along with graduates in addition to those coming on the way to the future builders, he stressed that work is on in all areas. Taking into account that science and technology are advancing on daily basis. His Highness urged everyone to continue to work each in his respective field of knowledge and specialisation so that we can keep pace with the world progress culturally and developmentally.

On the other hand, lingering behind ceasing the progress wheel will surely preclude achieving the strategic project we have started long ago to develop our society and ourselves.

Imparting his long time accumulated deep knowledge and thought, his highness urged graduates to strive and toil in seeking knowledge and continuing the path of achievements, explaining that graduation is not the finish line, but a bridge that leads us to the next stage to achieve more progress.

Concluding his speech, His Highness, Ruler of Sharjah referred to the various efforts, he has personally exerted to build a comprehensive educational system to instill the love of knowledge among citizens to be future builders of their country in all fields.
