Sharjah 24 – ONA: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, on Wednesday visited Wadi Al Arabiyeen in the Wilayat of Quriyat as part of his current visit to the Sultanate. He was received by a number of sheikhs and citizens of the Wadi Al Arabiyeen Village.
During his visit, Prince William was briefed on the history and heritage of this ancient village, its tourist attractions, Falaj and its farms and the roads adjacent to the palm plantations. The traditional Troupe in the Wilayat of Quriyat performed a number of traditional dances.

Prince William was also briefed on the Outward Bound Oman, work mechanism and role-division in the foundation since its establishment in the Sultanate in 2009.

Wadi Arabiyeen in the Wilayat of Quriyat, is one of the most famous valleys in the Governorate of Muscat, which is crossed by the valley from the plateau of Al Hajar Al Aswad Mountain to diversify the water between the valleys, Aflaj, springs, and waterfalls, to constitute a tourist and economic landmark.
The valley contributes to the prosperity of agricultural life in the village because of the abundance of water. The village is called Wadi Arabiyeen Village because there are many valleys descending to it.

The village is located in the eastern part of the Wilayat of Quriyat on the road that connects Quriyat to the Wilayat of Sur. It is 17 KM away from the main road.
