Sharjah 24 – WAM: Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), Wednesday received Dr. Sultan Al Mansouri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UAE, at the Council's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, they discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries, and the role of parliamentary diplomacy in serving national issues and strengthening security, peace and stability.

Ghobash welcomed the Qatari Ambassador and stressed the depth of historical and fraternal relations between the two countries, noting the distinguished parliamentary ties between the two sides.

Al Mansouri stressed the strong and distinguished fraternal relations between the two nations, and Qatar's keenness to strengthen and develop relations to include broader and wider fields in a way that serves the joint interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
