Sharjah 24: The Riley RM Roadster model of 1948, a historical treasure of the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum and owned by the Sharjah Old Cars Club, enchanted visitors during the Arabian Travel Market 2024. The car served as an icon of opulence and legacy.

Among Riley's final offerings before merging with Austin Motor Company to form BMC, this vehicle stands out. 

More than 27,000 people visited the museum in the first three months of this year, attesting to the appeal of its collection of over a hundred rare historic vehicles that will transport them down memory lane.

Museum involvement in the Arabian Travel Market 2024 show emphasises the profound significance of culture and history in the tourist sector, according to Dr Ali Ahmed Abu Al Zoud, chairman of the Sharjah Old Car Club's board of directors. 

According to him, Sharjah is a place that values both modernity and the past, particularly the recollections of past memories. The vintage vehicle industry is a living testimony to our storied past and our timeless love of fine design. 

Encouraging sustainable development through tangible and intangible cultural values reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance Sharjah's status as a tourist destination that celebrates authenticity.
