Al Thiqah Club concludes SSACSY's training prog

Sharjah24: Al Thiqah Club successfully concluded the training program for participants in the Sheikh Sultan Award for Celebrating the Spirit of Youth (SSACSY). The program aimed to refine and develop skills and self-reliance among club members participating in the award.
The closing ceremony was attended by Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, who praised the efforts of Al Thiqah Club in enhancing various programs it offers to its members with disabilities.

On behalf of Al Thiqah Club, Kaltham Obaid Al Matroushi, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors, expressed gratitude and appreciation to Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, for her visit and support to the program provided to champions, , in preparation for their participation in the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Award, affirming that this visit plays a significant role in motivating club members, boosting their morale, and unleashing their potential for honorable representation and competition in the award. She also emphasized that participating in the Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Award  is a great opportunity for club members with disabilities to develop their daily skills, energies, and talents, contributing to building a creative and productive personality capable of dealing with future challenges.

Kaltham Al Obaid also expressed gratitude to the program's supporting partners, including the World Disability Union , for their continuous support to the program, as well as the Holiday Inn Hotel, which contributed to organizing the closing ceremony of the program. The program lasted for three days and included basic skills, first aid courses, the implementation of self-advocacy programs, and self-defense training.
