Sharjah 24: Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah hosted the second International Gulf Aorta Summit, with participation from over 42 countries and more than 1200 attendees.

The summit aimed to enhance collaboration among cardiologists and heart specialists worldwide, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise on the latest techniques and procedures for treating aortic artery diseases.

The summit included interactive guidance sessions, workshops, clinical case presentations, and medical lectures by international experts, shedding light on both current and future technologies in heart treatment.

Dr Aref Al Nouriani, Director of Al Qassimi Hospital and Head of the Cardiology and Catheterization Department, expressed his satisfaction with the broad international participation, emphasising the importance of knowledge exchange and collaborative efforts in advancing healthcare.

Dr Zaki Al Muzakki, Head of the Vascular Department, praised the conference's success, highlighting the high-level scientific discussions and interactive workshops.

The summit concluded with recommendations for modern treatment and catheterization, emphasizing the importance of enhancing scientific research through innovation and modern technologies.
