Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police General Command launched an awareness campaign titled “Your belongings, your responsibility” with the aim of strengthening preventive measures to reduce the theft of vehicle contents.

Such efforts come to spread comprehensive awareness in line with the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing security and safety. 

The campaign will continue until the end of May.

Brigadier General Yousef Obaid bin Harmoul, Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department at the Sharjah Police General Command, stated that this campaign enhances the awareness of community members about preserving their property by publishing awareness film materials in three languages (Arabic, English, and Urdu) through the various social media channels of the Sharjah Police.

He called on community members to adhere to preventive measures and cooperate with security authorities to reduce behaviours that create conditions for the theft of vehicle contents, noting not to leave valuables inside the vehicle exposed, not to leave vehicles in isolated places, and to install vehicle alarms.
