Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, affirmed that the UAE Armed Forces, under its leadership, institutions, and personnel, have solidified their noble position and continued to elevate their esteemed mission, becoming an exemplary model globally.

He stated on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the unification of the Armed Forces that UAE Armed Forces have not only stood as a shield and protector of the nation's borders and achievements, but their role has expanded to include growing humanitarian missions. They leverage their accumulated expertise and steadfast determination to serve the cause of good, progress, and prosperity worldwide.

He further stated, "The UAE Armed Forces have been at the core of every stage of the nation's development and triumphant journey, generation after generation. They have remained a stronghold, a robust barrier, and a source of security and safety, offering invaluable sacrifices for the nation's glory and achievements. All appreciation goes to the noble martyrs who ascended the path of dignity and resilience, setting an example of selflessness, dedication, and loyalty. They were the epitome of the highest honour and noblest allegiance, from which generations draw the finest values of patriotism and devoted work, ensuring that the flag of the UAE remains high and fluttering in all stages and fields."

Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed extended heartfelt congratulations to the President and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and the personnel and officers of the Armed Forces, and the people of the UAE.
