Sharjah24: Menassah Distribution Company, dedicated to bolstering the distribution, marketing, and sales of Emirati books both locally and globally, recently took part in the Tunis International Book Fair 2024, a prominent cultural event in North Africa. Menassah is actively featuring local literary works at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) and the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF) 2024.
Menassah participated with an independent stand at the Tunis International Book Fair, held from 19 – 28 April at the Exhibition Palace in Al-Karam, Tunis. With titles from 314 exhibitors from 25 countries, the event featured 2,300 books from 51 member publishing houses, and the stand showcased 374 titles, reflecting the UAE’s diversity and richness of Arabic content.

At the 2024 Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF), one of the region’s largest children’s book fairs, Menassah offers visitors 410 diverse titles from 40 member publishers, totaling 3,500 books. A special corner highlights books that won the ‘Etisalat Children’s Book Award,’ in collaboration with the UAE Board on Books for Young People (UAEBBY).

Agreement

During SCRF, Menassah signed an agreement with UAEBBY to secure a list of the books that have been winning the Etisalat Children’s Book Award since 2009. This agreement aims to explore distribution opportunities with award-winning publishers, thereby supporting and enriching children’s literature in the Arab world.

Abu Dhabi International Book Fair Participation

Menassah is also participating in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, a global cultural platform promoting reading, culture, and knowledge exchange. At its stand, visitors can explore 800 titles from local publishing houses, with a special corner dedicated to showcasing the winners of the ‘Etisalat Children’s Book Award’ in collaboration with the UAE Board on Books for Young People.
