Sharjah24 : Ismael Mohammed Al-Ahmad, an accredited trainer from the Afaq Centre for Creativity overseeing the "Towards Sustainability" workshops at the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival 2024, highlighted that these workshops, lasting 12 days and offered in morning and evening sessions, deliver four daily sessions tailored for children aged 6 to 14.

Al-Ahmad explained to Sharjah 24 that these workshops focus on themes of recycling and the adoption of clean, renewable energy sources. The aim is to cultivate a sustainable generation capable of safeguarding the planet for future years, ensuring forthcoming generations inherit ample resources and a pollution-free environment conducive to good health.

Al-Ahmad stressed that children actively engage in these sustainable projects, learning the art of recycling to repurpose waste into novel and creative materials that enhance their everyday lives.
