Jawaher Al Qasimi inaugurates Rubu’ Qarn Music Centre

Sharjah24: Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and President of the Rubu' Qarn, inaugurated the Rubu' Qarn Music Center in the Mughaidir Suburb of Sharjah, in the presence of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the American University of Sharjah. The inauguration of this centre marks a significant achievement in the cultural journey of Sharjah, signifying the emirate's firm commitment to supporting talent and enhancing national identity through the arts.
The Rubu' Qarn Music Center offers a vibrant musical environment that enables students to acquire new musical skills through individual and group lessons on various musical instruments. Students can also gain knowledge from educational lectures and participate in talent competitions and concerts, which provide opportunities to showcase their skills. The centre provides a clear path to obtaining prestigious international certificates from the Joint Council of the Royal British Schools of Music and Trinity College.

During her visit to the centre, Sheikha Jawaher was given a guided tour of the facilities. She was briefed on the teaching tools, the classroom environment for music and ballet, and the music halls designed with the latest specifications to provide the best educational experience for students. Sheikha Jawaher also viewed the centre's advanced equipment and musical instruments, which enhance its ability to offer high-level musical education.

In her remarks, Sheikha Jawaher emphasized the importance of music in building promising generations and enhancing cultural communication between people. His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah is keen to stimulate artistic creativity and promote musical taste among society members, which is why the establishment of the Rubu’ Qarn Music Centre reinforces this vision. With this centre, local talents have a place to grow and develop in an environment that encourages the exploration of different cultures through creative and innovative means.

Executive Director of Rubu’ Qarn Music, Furat Qaddouri, has stated that Rubu’ Qarn Music Center aims to strengthen cultural identity and establish a creative economy to enhance Sharjah's global standing as a centre for music and arts. The foundation's programs will focus on improving its members' thinking and creativity skills, which will support the missions of national educational institutions and universities in creating a generation of distinguished researchers and thinkers. This national project will effectively contribute to the development of individuals' personal and social capabilities, foster innovative musical thinking, and strengthen Sharjah's position as a global cultural destination by attracting talent and creativity.

Furat Qaddouri mentioned that the centre has plans to offer specialised programs in music technology and audio engineering, which will allow members to use advanced technology to create, record, and produce music. The centre also seeks to empower members in the arts of individual and group singing and vocal recitation, in addition to providing specialised workshops in making and repairing musical instruments. The centre's programs aim to enable members to use advanced technology in the field of music while creating a supportive and creative environment under the guidance of an elite group of international experts.

The Quarter Qarn Music Center warmly welcomes families and individuals of all ages and encourages everyone to express themselves through art and music. This helps build their personalities and boosts their self-confidence.
