Sharjah24: Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) has announced a wide-ranging plan to accompany the 15th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) , organized by the Sharjah Book Authority at the Sharjah Expo Center from May 1 to 12, under the slogan 'Be the Hero of Your Story.'

Sharjah TV aims to put viewers at the heart of the event from its first moment by broadcasting the opening ceremony live on May 1. The program 'Sabah Al Sharjah' also provides extensive coverage with daily live broadcasts, except on Fridays. The media plan includes hosting specialized children's literature authors, highlighting the latest publications dedicated to children and youth, and providing continuous coverage and various reports on all activities, competitions, theatrical performances, and accompanying artistic and performance shows of this cultural event.

Sharjah TV continues its coverage through the production of a daily children's program called 'Our Children and Books,' which is broadcast live. The programs 'Amasy' and 'Language, Literature, and Art' take advantage of the cultural momentum and diverse activities in this annual cultural event dedicated to children, providing rich content to audience and putting them at the heart of the event by hosting and interviewing a group of authors and organizers. The program 'Guest of Sharjah' also takes the opportunity to benefit from this event by hosting prominent guests and authors who have a close connection to children's literature.

As for the news center, it has prepared special coverage for the festival by reporting every detail in the news bulletin. This includes news reports and interviews with intellectuals and writers to highlight this prominent cultural event and to accompany all its activities, which aim to enhance the connection between children and youth with books and reading.

Al Wasit Channel in Al Dhaid has also prepared an extensive plan to accompany the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival. The morning program 'Yawmiyat Al Wasit' covers the festival's events through a package of various reports. It also hosts officials, publishers, artists, and guests with creative ideas to highlight the publications, workshops, art exhibitions, and theatrical and performance shows presented by specialized artists from around the world throughout the festival. The digital media department of the channel also follows the events through special coverage around the clock during the festival days.

Sharjah Radio, on the other hand, broadcasts the events of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival by hosting authors and specialists in the program 'Studio 94' to discuss the vital role played by books and reading in nurturing educated generations armed with knowledge and ideas. The program also highlights the prominent and influential role played by the Emirate of Sharjah as a beacon of knowledge, thought, and literature. The program is broadcast live from a special studio at the Expo Center throughout the week between 5 and 6 p.m., presented by Mazna Najib, Hind Al Naqbi, Issa Al Mazmi, and Aisha Al Hammadi.

On its part, the 'Up Close' program is broadcasting the most informative events of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival throughout the week, live on air between 11:00 and 11:30 in the morning. The program is presented by the media personality Ahmed Buklah, who discusses the important topics with special guests.

The role of Sharjah Radio in the Children's Reading Festival goes beyond media coverage and transmitting the main events and activities. It extends to organizing a number of interactive workshops for children in its dedicated pavilion at the Expo Center. The workshops are presented by two children's literature writers, Haya Al-Qasim and Badriya Al-Marzouqi, who conduct rich discussion sessions for an hour about one of their stories. These workshops and sessions are held because Sharjah Radio deeply understands the importance of these sessions in nurturing children's thinking, promoting a culture of reading, and instilling a love for reading in their hearts.

For the third consecutive year, the Holy Quran Radio leaves its distinctive mark on this festival through the 'Recitation Studio.' It is a mobile studio that gives children the opportunity to record their recitations of the Quran with their own voices, and the recordings are then showcased on the radio's social media accounts. This activity encourages children with beautiful voices to unleash their talents and explore the exciting world of radio. This event attracts significant attention from participating children every year, as it attracted more than 500 participants in the previous edition.

Furthermore, Pulse 95, the English-speaking radio station, will have a strong presence in this event through its evening program, EYES ON, which sheds light on the festival in all its details, including conducting interviews with authors and key guests of the event. The program is presented by Aisha Al-Mazmi from Monday to Thursday, between 4:00 and 5:00 in the afternoon.

Pulse 95's coverage of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival continues over the weekend with 'The Evening Buzz' program, which puts the listener at the heart of the event through comprehensive coverage that highlights the importance of children's literature and includes interviews with various authors and organizers. The program is presented by Michael Atiyah from Friday to Monday, between 8:00 and 9:00 in the evening.

In addition, Pulse 95's digital media provides special coverage of the festival around the clock through various social media platforms, broadcasting different stories and conducting interviews with festival visitors. It also offers a live broadcast of the EYES ON program on Instagram.

On this occasion, His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, the Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, affirmed the readiness of the authority's channels and digital media to provide comprehensive coverage of the 15th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival.
