Sharjah24: Kalba City is experiencing remarkable growth across various sectors, particularly with the recent launch of numerous developmental projects. One of the most prominent additions to the city's landscape is Al Hafiya Lake, emerging as a strategic project and the latest hotspot for tourists.

Inaugurated just a few days ago by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Al Hafiya Lake has swiftly become a favoured destination for visitors not only from Kalba but also from nearby towns. Its allure lies in the mesmerising vistas it offers and the opportunities it provides for outdoor activities amidst nature's splendour.

This lake, spanning an impressive 132,000 square meters with a depth of 4 meters. It represents a strategic addition to Kalba's offerings, holding within its bounds 155 million gallons of rainwater, alongside valleys, coral reefs, and a 3.2 km-long water channel for replenishment.

Complementing the natural beauty are five mountain trails stretching over 11.7 kilometers, meticulously prepared for sports enthusiasts. Moreover, the lake itself serves as an idyllic setting for a variety of water sports, including kayaking, canoeing, and leisure boating.

Facilitating comfort and convenience, the lake boasts a lavish rest area covering 500 square meters. Additionally, it offers a range of service and entertainment facilities, such as restaurants, cafes, a dedicated children's play zone, separate prayer rooms for men and women, and an Islamic library stocked with a wealth of literature and interpretations.
