The event was held in Sharjah and featured Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Creativity Society, as its keynote speaker.
Dr. Aziz bin Farhan Al Al Enizi was also a participant in the Council, and the session was moderated by Khalid Al Marzouqi, a member of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Faisal Al Hammadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Khaled Al Marzouqi, Member of the Board of Directors and Director of Finance, attended from the Emirates Creativity Association; Dr. Abdul Salam Al Hammadi, Board member; Omar Al Naqbi, Board member; Khalifa Al Hosani, Board member, and Hoda Al Mansouri, Head of the Community Happiness Department, were present, in addition to a group of association members, those interested, and those invited.

At the start of the Ramadan Majlis, Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, the President of the Emirates Creative Association, gave a speech in which he commended the sense of unity and mutual support evident during the holy month of Ramadan.

He emphasised the significance of utilizing creativity in charitable activities and highlighted that creativity is a crucial element for innovation and progress in charitable work, which can result in a more substantial positive impact on society.

During his speech, he mentioned that the association is committed to maintaining its leading role in promoting charitable and humanitarian values in UAE society. The association strives to foster innovation and creativity in all domains of charity work to ensure that beneficiaries receive the maximum benefit and that their needs are met in innovative and efficient ways.

Dr. Aziz bin Farhan Al Al Enizi proceeded to discuss the subject of creativity in charitable work in light of the issues presented by Khaled Al Marzouqi. These issues highlighted the significance of the topic in promoting innovation and excellence in charitable work organization and developing conventional approaches for maximum benefit, with an emphasis on the necessity of activating creativity in charitable work to motivate society to participate effectively and enhance the level of social services, promoting sustainable development.

Al Enizi expanded on the topics and points raised in the council, which ranged from introducing the audience to the concept of charitable work in Islam and its practical application in daily life to emphasizing the importance of creativity in charitable work and directing efforts towards innovation and excellence in this field.

During his speech, he emphasized the significance of performing good deeds and helping others by referring to the teachings of our noble Sharia. These works can include physical, intellectual, or financial contributions, and Islamic Sharia encourages them as some of the most outstanding values. Engaging in charitable work regularly improves the quality of life of those in need and eases their suffering.

The Holy Qur’an recounts stories of several prophets who set an ideal example of charitable work, such as the story of Prophet Moses who offered two maids water to drink, highlighting the importance of physical kindness. Prophet Muhammad was a role model when it came to philanthropy, and he encouraged people to practice charitable work. Therefore, doing good deeds and helping others through charitable work is a sure way to be rewarded in both this life and the hereafter. Such work includes any actions that aim to improve the lives of others.

Dr. Al Enizi discussed the role of charitable societies and official bodies, highlighting their success in adopting long- and short-term strategies to promote and develop charitable work. He emphasized the importance of involving all segments of society and taking advantage of social media to enhance awareness. He stressed the need for practicing charitable work and working towards sustainable development, expanding the scope of philanthropic activities to include all segments of society and raising awareness of the importance of giving and social solidarity.

Dr. Al Enizi pointed out that sustainability in charitable work is an important issue addressed by the Qur’anic texts and the Prophet’s hadiths, as they encourage continuous charity and endowment, which benefit society in the long term. In contrast, intermittent charity, given repeatedly and continuously, plays an essential role in meeting the needs of the poor. However, ongoing charity continues to benefit even after the donor's death, enhancing the concept of sustainability in charitable work. Al Enizi provided examples of honourable companions such as Omar bin Al Khattab, Othman bin Affan, and Talha, who donated their funds for the sake of God and to benefit society, reflecting their commitment to sustainability in charitable work.

Dr. Al Enizi also touched on the Sharjah Endowments Department, which effectively manages endowment funds and ensures their continuity in benefiting society, whether in the medical, social or cultural fields. This reflects the efforts made to enhance the concept of sustainability in charitable work.

At the end of the council, the attendees expressed their gratitude for the efforts made in organising the event by the association and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi. They stressed the importance of continuing such initiatives to serve the community and promote the values of solidarity and cooperation among members of society.
