SEWA supplies electricity to 17 Ramadan tents

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) announced the temporary supply of electricity to 17 Ramadan tents (with a load of 412.96 KW), in different areas of the city of Sharjah.

The initiative comes in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Affairs, the Emirates Red Crescent, and other parties

Engineer Ahmed Al Bass, Deputy Director of the Electricity Distribution Department, confirmed that delivering electricity to the Ramadan tents comes as part of joint efforts with all parties to provide the best services, whereas the necessary procedures have been followed to ensure the safety of those visiting the tents.

SEWA is also working to meet requests to connect electricity to Ramadan tents in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, with the aim of promoting charitable work and implementing community and humanitarian initiatives. These efforts reflect the spirit of social solidarity, and aim to secure the safety and security requirements of citizens and residents.

SEWA is keen to ensure compliance with the requirements that contribute to maintaining the safety of everyone, and to raise awareness of the importance of following the best security standards and procedures to make tent sites safe.
