Sharjah24: The inaugural Al Hamriyah Volleyball Championship concluded successfully today, marking a memorable end to the event held at the Ramadan Village of the Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club.

The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of His Excellency Hamid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Club, accompanied by other board members, as well as residents and visitors of the Ramadan Village.

Throughout the championship, which spanned over 4 days, 8 teams engaged in competitive matches, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship in the Ramadan-themed atmosphere.

Eng. Ali Al Muhairi, a board member of the club and head of the Cultural and Community Committee, praised the championship's success on all levels.

Highlighting the event, Eng. Al Muhairi emphasised that Al Hamriyah Volleyball Championship welcomed participation from teams beyond the club, fostering greater community engagement in sporting activities.

Participants conveyed their appreciation to Al Hamriyah Club for organising the championship, unanimously acknowledging its role as a meaningful recreational outlet during the holy month of Ramadan.
