Sharjah 24: Jamal Al Turaifi, the President of Al Qasimia University, welcomed His Eminence Tomasz Miśkiewicz, the Mufti of the Republic of Poland.

During their meeting, they discussed various academic subjects of mutual interest and explored ways to strengthen their collaboration. The Mufti of Poland was briefed on the progress and future plans of Al Qasimia University in attracting students from diverse regions worldwide.

In response, the Mufti of Poland expressed gratitude for the initiatives of Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, particularly his unwavering support for the Arabic language and its learners globally. 

He also commended the personal attention given by the Ruler of Sharjah to students, as well as his encouragement and support for their educational pursuits through various means. 

Additionally, he lauded the pivotal role played by Al Qasimia University in promoting the principles of moderate Islam, fostering tolerance, and providing Arabic language education to non-native speakers.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, the Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, and Dr. Abdulrahim Yousuf Al Awadi, a legal expert in Gulf Cooperation Council affairs and the former UAE Minister of Justice, as well as the former Ambassador of the UAE to Poland.
