Sharjah 24: Dr. Saif Ahmed Al Zaabi, Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee of the First Kalba Ramadan Festival, confirmed that the festival offers the people of Kalba a distinctive combination of sports, cultural, and entertainment events.

Under the patronage of Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's office in Khorfakkan and Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's office in in Kalba, the Kalba Union Sports and Cultural Club continues the activities of the first edition of the Kalba Ramadan Festival, in the courtyard of Sheikh Saeed Al Qasimi House.

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Dr. Saif Ahmed Al Zaabi, Vice Chairman of the Festival Organising Committee, said that the festival, held under the slogan “Sports, Culture, and Society,” will continue its activities until March 23.

Al Zaabi explained that a number of government departments and institutions participate in the festival’s activities, which offers the public a diverse and distinctive combination of activities that suit all family members.

Dr. Saif Ahmed Al Zaabi added that the festival includes many sports competitions in five-a-side football and volleyball, in addition to Ramadan cultural Majlis and nights that are held daily and discuss many health, cultural, and social topics.

In conclusion, Al Zaabi noted the allocation of a corner for children’s games and workshops, in addition to many daily competitions that include raffles and the distribution of gifts to the public.
