Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the start of completing the sewage network projects in Al Saaf and Al Ghail neighborhoods in Al Fareesh suburb of Kalba City. This comes as part of the sewage projects carried out by the Department of Public Works within the main strategic sewage system in Sharjah and the sewage plan in Kalba City.

The project is part of the development projects in Kalba City directed by His Highness, and it complements the previously completed sewage projects in areas such as Square 16, Square 19 (Saaf 8), Al Qala'a, Khor Kalba, Al Burdi, Al Oud, Al Qadisiyah, Al Sidrah, Hatteen, Al Khawair, and Al Saaf Residential Complex, in addition to the treatment plant with a capacity of 3,700 cubic meters per day.

The sewage projects will contribute to improving public health, preserving the environment, and protecting the surrounding ecosystem, including groundwater, water bodies, and soil. They also support sustainable development, mitigate environmental disasters, enhance tourism and investment attraction, and provide a clean and healthy environment.
