Sharjah 24: The Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators is preparing to launch the “Tales Under the Ghaf Tree” event, starting on March 11 and throughout the days of the holy month of Ramadan, from 9:30 pm until midnight, in the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Theatre and Performing Arts in City Centre Al Zahia.

The invitation is open to everyone to attend the event and enjoy all the theatrical activities.

The event includes storyteller sessions, with the aim of introducing attendees to various forms of theatre and performing arts. 

Some folk tales will also be narrated that seek to instill values, enhance visitors’ knowledge, and enrich their understanding of heritage, history, and the arts. In addition, the event will include artistic workshops and a group of writing workshops to hone participants’ creative writing skills.

The event will also provide visitors with the opportunity to participate in daily Ramadan competitions, as well as weekly competitions such as summarising stories accompanied by discussion sessions with parents, through which experiences will be exchanged and the impact of theatre in developing the skills and abilities of children and youth will be addressed.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy theatrical performances performed by members of the Rubu’ Qarn theatre and performing arts group.
