Sharjah 24: Within the framework of celebrating the month of goodness and blessing, the Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW), in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Affairs, organised a distinguished awareness lecture on the occasion of the approaching holy month, with the aim of enhancing communication with its employees and educating them on the importance of the values of this holy month.
The lecture was held at the department’s branch headquarters in the city of Dibba Al Hisn, where Islam Ismail Sabri, gave a comprehensive lecture addressing the virtues and provisions of fasting and worship in the holy month of Ramadan.

The lecture included advice and guidance for employees on how to make the most of this holy month at work and daily life.

Tahani Al Dhaheri, public relations official from the branches department in the SDPW, stressed the importance of promoting religious and social values among its employees, and providing a stimulating work environment that reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity in the holy month.

She also expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by the team responsible for organising events that enhance communication and cohesion among employees.

This initiative comes within a series of activities and events organsied by the Department of Public Works, to enhance team spirit among employees, and reflects its commitment to promoting the values of cooperation, tolerance and solidarity in various aspects of social and working life.

In this context, on the sidelines of the lecture, in an atmosphere of giving and solidarity, Ramadan Meer activities were held to provide subsidies and assistance to the category of workers during the holy month of Ramadan, where food baskets, ready-made meals, and basic materials are distributed to the workers.

These wonderful efforts reflect the values of giving and solidarity that characterise societies during the month of Ramadan, and highlight the ability of the individual and the institution to achieve goodness, and help others in times of need.
