Sharjah24: Fatima Al Mousa, Emirati photographer, has confirmed showcasing a project that has been worked on globally in collaboration with Leica to celebrate the launch of the LEICA M11 MONOCHROM, during her participation in the International Photography Festival "Xposure".
In an interview with "Sharjah 24", Al Mousa revealed that the project is centred around highlighting the rich heritage and culture of the United Arab Emirates. The platform provided by the festival enables the exchange of culture and ideas with countries across the world. To capture the essence of the culture, Al Mousa chose to use the LEICA M11 MONOCHROM camera, which only shoots in black and white. This technique allows for images that are free from colour distractions and focuses on the story behind the image. To enhance the photos' presence, Al Mousa has used lighting techniques such as shadow lighting and contrast.

As an Emirati photographer, Al Mousa passionately advocates for the promotion of the UAE's culture. She strives to be the best ambassador for tolerance and cultural exchange between different peoples of the world.
