Sharjah24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) is all set to bring forth an immersive experience for its audience during the eighth session of the international photography festival, "Xposure 2024," organised by the Sharjah Government Media Office. Taking place from February 28 to March 5 at the Expo Centre Sharjah, the festival will see the involvement of 400 photographers from over 50 countries.
Aligning with the festival's theme of purposeful and beautiful art, the SBA radio and television channels, alongside digital platforms, are gearing up to provide comprehensive coverage and detailed reports directly from the venue. The festival, drawing renowned photographers from around the world, promises to be the largest photo festival in the region.

Sharjah TV channel will broadcast the live opening ceremony of the eighth edition, with continuous coverage from its fully integrated studio at the Expo Centre. Regular programmes namely "Sharjah Morning" and "Amasi" will ensure uninterrupted coverage of various workshops and events, featuring engaging video reports and interviews with participants and organisers.

Coverage will also be blended into other programmes such as "Literature, Thought, and Art" where reputed journalist Raad Aman will shed light by offering a unique perspective on tales conveyed through 2,500 captivating images, exclusively available in the new edition of the festival.

The news centre at Sharjah TV will be delivering the festival's details through a daily segment in the house's news bulletin. This will encompass news reports with specialists and participants, underscoring the global significance of Xposure 2024.

Sharjah Radio will also have a vibrant presence at the Expo Centre, featuring a dedicated radio studio at the heart of the festival. The programme "Close Up" will air daily between 11am (excluding Fridays), ensuring comprehensive coverage of events and workshops. Hosts Aisha Al-Hamoudi and Ahmed Bouklah will engage with festival guests and visitors, placing the listener at the core of this artistic, cultural, and global phenomenon.

Adding an international flavour, Plus 95 Radio will broadcast live coverage of the festival through "Pulse 95 Live from Xposure." Airing from the Expo Centre, the programme, hosted by Omnia Al-Saleh and Mikael Attia, will feature interviews with official figures and participating guests. Additionally, special reports on social networking sites will capture the essence of daily activities, workshops, and discussion sessions, and highlight emerging talents in the world of photography.

The Sharjah Media Training Centre will also actively contribute to Xposure 2024, hosting two workshops under the theme "Generative Artificial Intelligence." Facilitated by Jassim Yaqoob Al-Awadhi, the workshops will explore concepts and applications of artificial intelligence and text-to-image conversion techniques.

With the SBA taking the lead in media coverage for Xposure 2024, the authority anticipates delivering a captivating narrative that resonates with audiences worldwide, reinforcing Sharjah's position as a hub for artistic and cultural exchange.
