Sharjah24: During her interview with "Sharjah 24," Belgium's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Hadja Lahbib, discussed her visit to the Emirate of Sharjah and its most famous cultural site, the House of Wisdom, as part of the solid diplomatic ties between her country and the UAE.
She went on to remark that both nations are interested in learning more about each other and trying to develop understanding among their people, adding:
"Although I originally came to attend the 30th Ministerial Conference of the WTO, I decided to extend my stay in order to meet with some local Belgian enterprises. It's amazing. that there are so many Belgian enterprises here.
I want to strengthen our ties and have several bilateral meetings with local ministers during my visit.
Honestly, I'm impressed by this House of Wisdom. Its spirits are within me. It's pretty versatile. Additionally, the transparency is just stunning, and I must say, I am very happy with it.
Also, I'm delighted to mention that the French-speaking part of Belgium donated books to this house which makes me so proud.”
