Sharjah 24: The Arab Parliament for the Child, in collaboration with the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) of the Sharjah government, arranged a trip for children from the Arab world to Sharjah Safari, providing an opportunity for the children to explore its natural surroundings and observe a variety of animals.
Participating in the trip were 76 boys and girls representing nineteen Arab countries, who are members of the parliment, attending the third session. They had the chance to delve into nature, appreciate the charm of Sharjah Safari situated in Al Dhaid city, covering eight square kilometres and housing approximately 120 endangered animal species. During the visit, they toured different locations within the Safari, witnessing the diverse natural environments that encompass over a hundred thousand trees and five hundred thousand animals.

This educational experience allowed the children to gain insights into African and tropical environments, and within Sharjah Safari, practical sessions were conducted for school students and children, focusing on science, environment, and geography.

The children acquired an understanding of the significance of Sharjah Safari and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which emphasises the preservation of deserts, trees, plants, and animals in tandem with development across various sectors, including infrastructure, culture, tourism, heritage, economy, sports, and more.
