Sharjah 24: With distinguished participation, Al Dhaid Club players excelled in the Dhaid Fort Desert Run, where they achieved impressive results in the different age groups and distances.

In the 13-15 age group, over a distance of 3 kilometres, Munjid Ahmed Al Saleh from Al Dhaid Club was able to win first place, while Fateh Al Haitham took second place, and Mohammed Muzamil came in third place, confirming the club’s superiority in this age group.

In the 15-18 age group, Yousef Yassin from Al Dhaid Club also managed to achieve second place, confirming the distinction and strength of Al Dhaid team in the competitions.

At a distance of 6 kilometres for the age group of 18 years and above, Al Hussein Adam Othman from Al Dhaid Club was able to win first place, while Salem Al Aqma took third place.

At the end of the race, the winners were honoured in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Maadhad Al Ketbi, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), and His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden, Chairman of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, in addition to the attendance of His Excellency Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Parents Council in the region, His Excellency Hamad Rashid Al Tunaiji, Director of Al Dhaid Municipality, Khalifa Mubarak Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural Committee of Al Dhaid Club, and Mahir Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Administrative Director of Al Dhaid Club, in addition to a number of community members who attended to support the event and encourage the players.
