RAK Ruler pardons 442 prisoners ahead of 52nd Union Day

Sharjah24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has directed the release of 442 prisoners from Punitive and Correctional Institution in Ras Al Khaimah ahead of the 52nd Union Day.
This gesture reflects the keenness of His Highness, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, to grant the prisoners a second chance at a new life and to ease the burden on their families.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of Judiciary Council, directed relevant parties to take necessary measurement to implement the directives of His Highness in coordination with the General Command of the Ras Al Khaimah Police.

Counselor Hassan Muhaimid, Attorney General of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, said that His Highness Sheikh Saud's decision stems from his keenness to allow the pardoned prisoners to reintegrate into society.
