Sharjah24: Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, received a delegation from Basmat Watan Foundation leading by Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Dabani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Basmat Watan.

This visit comes within the framework of building cooperation and enhancing communication between civil society institutions and sports clubs, as the meeting aimed to sign a cooperation agreement based on the voluntary concept.

The agreement’s procedures reflected the commitment of the club and the organization to enhancing integration between the sports and community sectors, with the aim of promoting sports values and encouraging young people to actively participate in sports activities.

The club's various facilities and capabilities were also reviewed in light of the great support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of the Sharjah Sports Council.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mutawa believed  that this cooperation will contribute significantly to enhancing the sports programs and events provided by the club, and will enhance positive interaction between sports clubs and civil society institutions in serving the local community.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Dabani expressed his happiness with the visit and highlighted the importance of collaborating to promote the values of volunteer work and encourage young people to participate in sporting activities, stressing the Foundation’s commitment to supporting such valuable initiatives.
