Sharjah24: Monica Wahi, Children's film specialist and a member of the jury at Sharjah International Film Festival (SIFF) , expressed her pleasure to take part in SIFF affirming that the films showing in this event not only encourage children to be curious and creative but also to be compassionate.

On that event, Monica Wahi said “ I think the tone was set at the opening ceremony of the festival when there was a special message for Palestinian children as films have great impact to translate the message of the issue that crossed the borders and reached the hearts and helped children to see beyond the borders of the Palestinian issue. 

 Monica Wahi affirmed that the kind of films they watched in the SIFF over few days were extremely enlightening for them and for children.
