Sharjah 24: In preparation for the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) elections in 2023, the Sharjah Security Committee has confirmed its readiness through a comprehensive security strategy to ensure the highest levels of security and safety for the voters. The Emirate of Sharjah and its cities operate as nine secure voting locations.

This morning, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and Chairman of the Security Committee for the Consultative Council elections in the Emirate of Sharjah, officiated a meeting of the Committee at the headquarters. Representatives from each election district committee and the Security Committee were present at the meeting. 

Several security measures for the Emirate of Sharjah's nine municipalities and the 2023 electoral process were reviewed at the conference.
