Sharjah24: On Wednesday, the "Tarahum For Gaza (Aid Gaza)" campaign kicked off in the cities of the Eastern Region. This is an Emirati initiative aimed at providing assistance to those affected by the Gaza war. The campaign is being organised by the Sharjah Charity International in cooperation with Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department, among other organisations.

Nasser Masoud Al Barout, who heads the branch sector at the Sharjah Charity International, explained that the campaign began on Wednesday and will run until October 26th of the current year, following the directives of the United Arab Emirates' leadership.

In his remarks to Sharjah24, Al Barout explained that several suburban councils in Khorfakkan, Kalba, and Dibba Al Hisn have been designated to accept donations daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Al Barout clarified that individuals from diverse sections of society started coming to the specified locations right from the first day to contribute their financial and in-kind donations, including food items and more.

Additionally, he pointed out that the association's headquarters in the three cities have been set up to receive donations, along with the councils in Suhaila and Khor Kalba in Kalba, the councils in Hayawa and Al Sabeihia in Khorfakkan, and the council in Dibba Al Hisn.
