Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police General Command, in partnership with the Community Police Department, Media and Public Relations Department, and Criminal Investigations Department, collaborated with the Sharjah Social Services Department and the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department to organise an awareness campaign for senior citizens at Al Hamriyah Suburb Council.

The campaign was specifically aimed at the elderly individuals attending the Literacy Centre within the Social Services Department in Sharjah.

This initiative serves as a continuation of the ongoing "Be Informed" awareness campaign, which was launched the previous month. It demonstrates a commitment to arranging diverse community events for various societal groups, with a particular emphasis on the elderly, recognising their pivotal role as the bedrock of the community.

The activities designed for the elderly and attendees featured performances by the music band associated with the Police Science Academy. These were followed by educational lectures that blended both social and security dimensions.

To conclude the initiative, several participants and attendees were recognised and honoured.
